Whiskey Sour


Spirit, citrus and sugar—the original big three—come together in the Whiskey Sour. Few cocktails are as quick to satisfy and endlessly customisable as the Whiskey Sour. Add a twist to any component, and you have your own personal spin on this classic sour. We like our Whiskey Sour creamy with egg white and a few dashes of aromatic bitters for a complementary spice note.


60 ml bourbon

22.5 ml fresh lemon juice

15 ml simple syrup

15 ml egg white (optional)

Garnish: Angostura bitters


Add all ingredients into a shaker and dry-shake (no ice).

Add ice and shake again.

Strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with 3 or 4 drops of Angostura bitters.
