To make Harry Potter’s Butterbeer, there’s no need for a trip to Three Broomsticks. Harry Potter’s favourite boozy drink is easy to make at home. Grown-up wizards and adult muggles can make this famously boozy Diagon Alley treat right in their own Hogwarts cauldron. (No spells required.)

Ingredients

• 30 ml butterscotch schnapps
• 30 ml vanilla vodka
• 180 ml cream soda
• Garnish: whipped cream
• Garnish: butterscotch syrup
• Garnish: butterscotch whipped cream*

Steps

1. Add all ingredients into frosty mug.
2. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and butterscotch syrup drizzled on top, or top with butterscotch whipped cream.
3. *Butterscotch whipped cream: In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 oz butterscotch sundae topping. Using a hand mixer, whip until soft peaks form.
