Master this all-time gin classic. The Tom Collins is essentially a sparkling lemonade spiked with a healthy dose of the juniper-centric spirit. While there is a debate raging about which side of the pond this drink hails from, this cocktail lives up to its classic status with every sip.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml London Dry gin
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • Club soda, to top
  • Garnish: lemon wheel
  • Garnish: maraschino cherry

Steps

  1. Add the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup into a Collins glass.
  2. Fill with ice, top with club soda and stir.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wheel and maraschino cherry (optional)
